It's a great reminder of what needs to be the foundation of everything we do. I thought I'd share it. I appreciate his heart for prayer and his promise to pray for Journey Church.<BR/><BR/>"When I thought about the 'marks', I felt an important one was missing. PRAYER!! In Mt. 21:13, Jesus quotes IS 56:7 and Jer. 7:11, saying 'My house shall be called a house of prayer'. After 70 years in exile, Jeremiah's message (29:11-13) to the exiles was, '..call upon Me and come and pray to Me with all your heart, and I will listen to you.'<BR/>God's still listening and has plans to give Joy in the Journey. <BR/>God's answers to our individual and group prayers will be the basis to glorify Him. How do you feel about prayer being included as one of the essential marks of a healthy church? I want prayer to be more of a passion and desire of my heart. We'll pray for the launch of Journey Church and for your servant leadership."dennishttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06506798063513387625noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3456849099852854088.post-21056984516915573332007-12-26T07:26:00.000-08:002007-12-26T07:26:00.000-08:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3456849099852854088.post-6839983148516852692007-12-23T16:39:00.000-08:002007-12-23T16:39:00.000-08:00That's good stuff.
