She was from the west side too and graduated from West High though it sounds like shes a lot "older" than me. Just kidding! Thanks. <BR/><BR/>I stumbled across your blogging today while “googling” Ater’s – where I’ve gone most of my life as well. In fact my Mom used to make homemade jelly for them at times in the ‘50’s. I’m about 5 years older than you but your blog is great about being 55 – especially about the I-Pod and not having to whistle the kids home – I loved it!<BR/><BR/>Thank you for keeping a little bit of the old west side alive – I’ve often thought it would be nice to have a web page dedicated to “the bottoms” and also the further west side, as I lived on Glenwood until 1960 then on to graduate West High School.
